Message	If the police were on seen and wrote a report, your insurance company will know anyway. If the other party has no insurance, you should tell your insurance company. If its not your falult, your rate should not go up depending on who your insurance company is. It's always better to let your insurance know, they deal with this kind of stuff and is better equipped to handle it.
